Ruby Opal Wyatt

Ruby Opal Wyatt, age 100 of Hamilton, passed away at Woodland Country Manor on Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was born in London, Kentucky on February 24, 1918 the daughter of Austin and Ella Jane (Morgan) Yaden. Ruby was employed as a personnel supervisor for FW Woolworth Company for numerous years. She was a charter member of the West Side Church of Christ. On September 9, 1939 in London, Kentucky she married Harry Wyatt and he preceded her in death in 2008. She is survived by four children, Freda Anderson, John (Janice) Wyatt, Sam (Deborah) Wyatt, Wanda Fern Day; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and eleven great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; eleven siblings, Homer, Roscoe, Elige, Joe, George, Pearl, Edward, and Brad Yaden, Jessie Peterson, Viola Sherman, Nannie Sherman, and Mattie Wyatt; and son-in-law, Larry Anderson.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Dan Knisley officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the staff of Woodland Country Manor for the exceptional care provided to Ruby over the past four years.
