Russell L. "Bub" Saylor

Russell L. "Bub" Saylor, age 66 of Hamilton, passed away at home surrounded by his family and a few close friends on Thursday, August 1, 2013. He was born in Hamilton on January 28, 1947 to Dillard and Louise (Howard) Saylor. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his sister, Donna Bown; children, Melissa (David) Bruns, Toby (Rachelle) Madden, Brandon (Janelle) Saylor and Jordan Saylor; grandchildren, Justin McNally, Mackenzie McNally, McKayla Madden and Haley Saylor; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Baylee and one on the way; nieces and nephews, Martin Blackwell and Angel Bown; great-nieces and nephews, Matthew Hickey, Allyson Bown, Samantha Blackwell, Adam Blackwell and Alex Blackwell; great-great-nephew, Levi Hickey; and close friends, Granville Kramer and Wendell Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Dillard "Dinger" Campbell. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Monday, August 5, 2013, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 330 Pershing Avenue. Funeral service will be 11am, Tuesday, August 6, 2013, also at the funeral home on Pershing Avenue. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
