Russell Wells

Russell Wells, age 78 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012. He was born in Hamilton on April 15, 1933 the son of Garrett and Maud (Willis) Wells. Russell attended Lee College in Cleveland Tennessee. He served in the United States Air Force as a Jet Fighter Pilot achieving rank of Major. He was employed as a bricklayer and general contractor. Russell is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Loretta Meadors, Florence Portwood, Clyde Wells, Joan Holman, Doyle Wells, and Harold Wells. Visitation will be 1pm until time of service (2pm), Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, with Pastor Wilma Jackson of Rivers of Life Church of God, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
