Ruth Loraine Bucheit

Ruth Loraine Bucheit, age 82 of Hamilton passed away in Ft. Hamilton Hospital Hospice Unit on Monday, April 30, 2007 at 12:30 AM. She was born in Broadhead, Kentucky on October 5, 1924 the daughter of Simon and Pearl (Hysinger) Ball. On June 26, 1948 in Hamilton she was married to Ralph Bucheit, and he preceded her in death in 1998.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandma, she is survived by two sons, Rex Bucheit and Robby (Michelle) Bucheit, both of Hamilton; one daughter, Debbie Bucheit of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Erin, Ryan, and Steve Bucheit, and Kim (Greg) Westrick, all of Hamilton; and two great-grandchildren, Rebekka and Ross Westrick; and also one sister, Irene (Jim) Vogel of Hamilton and her children Susan (Kevin) Kelly and Jimmy (Shawna) Vogel; and two sisters-in-law, Verna Bucheit and Mary Jo Bartlett, both of Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter-in-law, Patricia Bucheit in 2001.

Funeral Services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 2:00 PM with a eulogy by her family. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
