Ruth E. Emenaker

Ruth E. Emenaker, age 90 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 12:50 AM. She was born in Hamilton on July 13, 1921 the daughter of Anthony and Rose (Leuderalbert) Bossert. On February 15, 1947, Ruth married Robert L. Emenaker who preceded her in death in 1994. Ruth was employed at Champion Paper’s Corporate Offices. She was a member of the Cooperative Service League, Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority, Sterling Silvers, Knights of Columbus #968 Ladies Auxiliary, several card clubs, and delivered Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by children, Karen (John) Hensley and Gary (Imelda) Emenaker; grandchildren, Kimberly (Brennan) Graham and James Emenaker, whom she raised; sisters in law, Marilyn Bossert and Elaine Emenaker; many nieces and nephews; and her canine companion, GB. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Don Bossert.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 171 Washington Street, on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10am. Interment will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday from 5-8pm. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
