Ruth Evans, age 75 of Oxford, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017. She was born in Hamilton on May 31, 1941 to the late James and Rose Finlay. She married Tom Evans on September 24, 1960. Ruth was a member of the Collinsville Presbyterian Church and was the church treasurer for 16 years.
Ruth is survived by her son, David (Dawn) Evans; grandchildren Ashley (Josh) Gray, Brooke, Aubrey and Bryan Evans and A.J., Michael, Layne and Emma Schwab; great grandchildren Addelyn and Elijah Gray; siblings Sue Pretty and Mary Jane Dengler; sister in laws Jean Finlay and Janet Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Tom Evans; children James Evans and Melissa Evans; brother Bob Finlay and her brother in law, Bill Pretty.
Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2017 from 10am-11am at Brown Dawson Funeral Home, Millville Ave, Hamilton, OH. Funeral service to follow at 11am, also at the funeral home.
