Ruth Frances Hinson

Ruth Frances Hinson, age 88 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015.She was born in Winston Salem, NC on November 12, 1927 to Ralph and Ruth (Atwood) Wommack. Ruth retired after working 40 years in the dietary department at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She is survived by five sons, Charles Hinson, Sam (Mary Lynette) Moser, J.D. (Debbie) Hinson, Mark (Tyler Hall) Hinson, and Rob (Kristan) Hinson; nine grandchildren, Tammy Cherington, Dustin Hinson, Eric Moser, Kim Kennedy, Jennifer Wright, Nikki Roland, John Hinson, Cody Hinson, and Tyler Hinson; and sixteen great-grandchildren; and sisters Bessie Williams and Elizabeth Hodges. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hinson; and her parents. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 6:00 PM. Private burial services will be held at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
