Ruth Pfaffman

Ruth Pfaffman, age 88 of Fairfield, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 1, 1930 the daughter of James and Helen (Knighton) Duggins. On October 13, 1951 in Hamilton she married Richard "Dick" Pfaffman. Ruth was a member of Fairfield Community Church. She was employed at Wilks Insurance, Marilyn’s on Main; and Kremer Florist.

She is survived by her husband, Dick Pfaffman; two daughters, Chris Coffey and Donna "DeeDee" (Jim) Hall; one sister, Marlene Arminio; one grandson, Chris (Jody) Hall; two great granddaughters, Brittany and Emma; one great great grandson, Jaxon; sister-in-law, Ginny Duggins; special neighbors, Jim and Linda Helton; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, Bud Duggins, Carol Lewis, Clifford Duggins, Donald Duggins, Ed Duggins, and Gladys Rodgers.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Richard Sterwerf of Fairfield Community Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
