Ruth Powell Trumble

Ruth Powell Trumble, age 75 of Linden, Texas passed away in Linden, Texas on Wednesday, June 20, 2007. She was born in Hamilton on June 23, 1931 the daughter of Noah and Eula (Patrick) Powell. Ruth was a 1949 graduate of Hamilton High School and received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Atlanta, Texas.

She is survived by one daughter, Ruan Seeley "Sister Esther Marie of the Trinity" of Morristown, New Jersey; one brother, Mack Powell of Hamilton; six nieces and nephews and their families, Jim Powell of Hamilton, Fran Powell Adams of Florence, Kentucky, Mimi and Butch Sullivan and children, Amber and Brittany of Oxford, Ohio, John and Tammi Dearth and children Jennifer and Holly of Springboro, Ohio, Hector and Suzanne Vargas and children Michael and Shane of Hamilton, Mack and Angie Powell and children Kylie Elizabeth and Rhett of Hamilton; cousin Paul Richardson of Hamilton; special friend Margie Gardner Sauter of Okeana; and many other special friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Catherine Catholic Church, Atlanta, Texas, on Saturday, June 23, 2007. A graveside service will be held in Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow.
