Samuel Nelson Nickell

Samuel Nelson Nickell, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at Optimized Senior Living in Lebanon, Ohio, on Friday, November 5, 2021. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 31, 1945 to Albert Nelson and Mary Belle (Combs) Nickell.  Samuel attended Ross Schools and was employed at Fisher Body for more than twenty years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by two siblings, Hazel Waters and John (Carol) Nickell; three nieces, Cheryl (Donald) Deems, Mary (Larry) Bailey, and Beverly Bower; one nephew, John (Tina) Waters; numerous great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anna L. Nickell.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at funeral home.  Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.
