Samuel L. Patrick Sr.

Samuel L. Patrick Sr., age 76 of Hamilton, passed away from Leukemia on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. He was born in McArthur, OH on November 27, 1938 to Guy and Mary (Beckley) Patrick. On January 19, 1957 in Hamilton he married Elizabeth Baker. Samuel retired as the Superintendent of Waste Water from the City of Hamilton after 43 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Patrick; sons, Samuel (Mary Suzanne) Patrick Jr., Scott Patrick, and Craig Patrick; grandchildren, Amy of Peoria, AZ, Stacy of Tallahassee, FL, Nathan of Columbus, OH, Christa of Hamilton, Caity of Cincinnati, Alyx of Hamilton, and Chance of Hamilton, 11 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Regina Brown of Columbus, OH, Clara Casey of Powell, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mary Dale Schalk.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 12:00 PM with Pastors Ernie and Velina Durbin of Headwaters Christian Community Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Headwaters Christian Community Church in his honor.
