Sandra Barger (Sandi) Brashear

Sandra (Sandi) Barger Brashear, age 55, passed into eternity on Monday, February 29. She was born on March 27, 1960 to Herbert & Maxine (Campbell) Barger of Fairfield Township and attended Fairfield City Schools. She was a loving mother to her 2 sons, Eli & Jacob, but the joy of her life was her first grandchild, Blake Brashear. She also adored her newest grandchild Elizabeth and was thrilled that Jake & Susie were expecting a new baby girl in April. She loved her niece Angie & nephews Aaron & Adam and was so proud of them. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed many churches, Bible studies and prayer groups in her lifetime. She was often "the life of the party" -always laughing and telling stories- "colorful" is a good word for her! She was truly "bigger than life" - if you knew her you never forgot her! She is survived by her faithful & loving parents, baby brother Keith, older sister Cindy (Barger) Schmidt and her VERY favorite brother-in-law, Don Schmidt, of Westerville OH, her niece & husband, Pastor David & Angie Jimenez of Costa Rica, nephew Aaron Schmidt & Lauren Roberts of Columbus, OH, and nephew Adam & Megan Schmidt of Marion, OH. She is also survived by her "bonus" brother & his family, Eugene & Andrea Smith Justin, Joey, & Jordan. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends left to mourn her loss & celebrate her new life in heaven where she is healed & whole & happy.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the funeral home. Condolences can be shared at www.browndawsonflick.com.
