Sandra Sue Coda

Sandra Sue Coda, age 59, of New Miami, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, October 19, 2009. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on October 12, 1950 the daughter of Adron and Roxie (Williams) Bishop. Sue attended New Miami High School and enjoyed music, her pets, and being with her family and friends.

Sue is survived by her husband, John W. Coda of Trenton; her parents, Adron and Roxie Bishop of New Miami; 5 brothers, Lawney (Joyce) Gilbert of Speedwell, Tenn., Euvon (Joyce) Gilbert of Bainbridge, Tyrone (Kathy) Gilbert of Pikeville, Tenn., Barry (Kathy) Bishop of Hamilton, and Jeff (Cindy) Bishop of Trenton; 5 sisters, Shirley (John) Settles of Pikeville, Tenn., Danna (the late Paul) Olendorf of Pikeville, Tenn., Phyllis (Alva) Fuson of Arcanum, Karen (Mike) Luff of New Miami, and Donna (Donald) Hopper of New Miami; many nieces and nephews including special niece, Roxie Luff and special nephew, Clint Hopper; and several great-nieces and great-nephews including Megan Bishop.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Thursday October 22, 2009 at 12 noon with Rev. Tim Mullins of Greenhills United Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM till 12 noon.
