Sandra K. Taylor

Sandra K. Taylor, age 67 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014. She was born in Paris Island, NC on August 30, 1946 to Bill and Ethel (Donahue) Bolick. On February 27, 1965 in Louisville, KY she married her best friend and soul mate John Taylor, and they were happily married for 49 years.

She is survived by her husband, John Taylor; 3 children, Karen (Cris) Demoret, Carolyn Taylor, Randy (Julie) Taylor; 6 grandchildren, Jamie (Tony) Payne, Brad Fisher, John Taylor Jr., Robert Taylor, Chris Turner, and Olivia Demoret; 6 great-grandchildren, Riley, Grace, Jaxson, Izayah, Layla, and Eli; siblings, Thom (Leigh) Bolick, and Wendy Barnett. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Bolick; and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Patrick McMullen celebrant. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue.
