Sandra Sue (Cobb) Young

Sandra Sue Young, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.  She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 30, 1941 the daughter of Floyd B. and Georgianna (Warren) Cobb. In 1981 in Hamilton she married Walter Young and he preceded her in death in 2014 and in 1957 she married Jim Philpot and he preceded her in death in 1977.

Sandra is survived by Marianna Philpot of Hamilton and Kari and her husband, Rusty McDaniel of Florence, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Amber, Jamie, Todd, Kaylee, John, Joseph, Maddie, and Jenna; great grandchildren, Jamily, Jordan, Cameron, Carson, Corey, Jaylen, Trent, Amaya, Kolton, Noah, Bella, Kylie, Isabella, Kendall, and Dylan; and one great great grandson, Genos;  two brothers, Robert (Sandy) Cobb and Herschel (Fran) Cobb; and two sisters, Elizabeth “Betsy” George and Mary (Alfred) Sparks. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Bobby Cobb and Lisa Marcum; and four siblings, Joseph (Vanetta) Cobb, Raleigh (Frieda) Cobb, Thomas Cobb, and Mark Cobb.

Graveside funeral service will be held at Hickory Flat Cemetery on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Walt Philpot officiating.  Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com
