Sandra "Sandy" F. Smith

Sandra “Sandy” F. Smith, 70, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2022 after a long, courageous battle. She made broken look beautiful  and strong look invincible. Sandy was born on October 23, 1951 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Roy and Beulah (Brinegar) Anderson. She married her love, B.B. Smith, on May 1, 1971. Sandy worked many years as the manager of the Hamilton West Ponderosa and the Cleves Gold Star until she retired in 2007. She enjoyed good company, softball, camping, music and cooking. You never left her home hungry and always with a hug that would last long after she let go.

Sandy loved her family deeply and dearly. She is survived by her two children, Angela (Mike) Allen, Brandon (Tami) Smith; 3 grandchildren, Lane Plagge, Brandon Hunter Smith, Brynn Smith; 4 bonus grandchildren, Jayden (Dominic) Stephens, Jentsyn Thorpe, Holly (Andrew) Ruscher, and Jacob Gillis; 2 bonus great-grandchildren, Jackson Ruscher and Lorenzo Stephens. She leaves behind so many family members and many friends she loved like family. Wherever her beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.

Sandy is preceded in death by her husband, B.B. Smith; her parents; an infant sister, Margie Anderson; and her sisters, Geraldine Blevins and Shirley Newkirk.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio with Pastor Curtus Moak officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
