Sara M. Hymer, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Friday, October 25, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on December 7, 1936 to Oliver and Evelyn (Schiller) Nieman. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1954. Sara married Boyd Hymer November 18, 1960. She worked at Mosler Safe for over 35 years. Sara was a member of the Seven Mile Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Boyd Hymer; siblings, Oliver (Jacquelyn) Nieman and Jaunita (William) Dunham; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ruth Reddick, Evelyn Kallick, Mary Smith, Clarence Nieman and Joe Nieman.
Visitation will be 5-7pm, Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. Funeral service will be 1pm, Thursday, October 31, 2013 also at the funeral home on Pershing Avenue with Pastor Chris Trumbull officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
