Scottie Williams

Scottie Williams, age 43 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 9:04 PM. He was born in Hamilton on June 8, 1964 the son of Lester and Mildred (Crutcher) Williams. Scottie was employed in maintenance at Viox Services for approximately nine years and was a member of Summit View Baptist Church. On May 23, 2007 in Hamilton he married Paula Woods.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Williams of Hamilton; his mother, Mildred Williams of Hamilton; three brothers, Greg (Barbara) Williams of Hamilton, Roger (Stephanie) Williams of Gratis, and Vernon (Lesha) Williams of Hamilton; a sister, Nenia Bowling of Cincinnati; a brother-in-law, Rick Sawtell of Washington; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Brenda Sawtell; and a brother-in-law, Marvin Bowling.

Funeral service will be held at Summit View Baptist Church, 2431 Summit Street, Overpeck, 45055 on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Mike Gentry officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summit View Baptist Church.
