Sharon E. Acore

Sharon E. Acore, age 51 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017, after surviving cancer, but having a challenging year of related medical issues.

Sharon was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 29, 1966 to Charles F. Acore and Eleanor A. (Beaumont) Acore. Sharon grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Oak Hills High School in 1984.

Sharon moved to Breckenridge, Colorado and lived there for 9 years, where she enjoyed spending time hiking and skiing. Sharon then lived in Redondo Beach, California before returning to Ohio in 2001. She worked for Meijer in many different positions within the company.

Sharon is survived by her parents, Charles and Eleanor (Beaumont) Acore, of Redondo Beach, California; 2 sisters, Laurie Acore, of Hermosa Beach, California; Susan (Acore) and Richard Slade, of Ross, Ohio; nephews, Alexander and Jacob Slade, of Ross, Ohio.

Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7 at 12:00 pm with Fr. Jim Wedig officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
