Sharon Tye

Sharon Tye, age 61 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Sharon was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 31, 1960 to Jim and Darla Strong. On December 3, 1977, she married the love of her life, Larry Tye. Sharon enjoyed fishing, playing BINGO and cards, picnics with her family and long car rides eating bologna sandwiches.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry Tye Sr.; her children, Jessica (Bobby) Tye and Larry (Brandi) Tye Jr.; her grandchildren, Chasity Paige Gray, Ethan Lamon Gray and Laura Stevenson; her great-grandchild, Sarah Elizabeth Stevenson; her sisters, Karen (David) McGuire, Jeanette (Scott) Barger, Jewel (the late Harley) Vice, Twyla Brewer and Tari Lynn (Jim) Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Darla Strong; her brothers, Lonnie Strong and Jimmy Strong; and her grandson, Dakota Joseph Gray.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Scott Barger officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery.
