Shawn P. Ohlinger, of Fairfield Township, passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 13, 2016 after a year and a half battle with cancer. He was born in Hamilton on December 31, 1970 to Michael and Elaine (Baldwin) Ohlinger. Shawn was a 1989 graduate of Badin High School. He served in the Air Force and was honorably discharged after four years of service. Shawn was employed by Pepsi and was a fork lift operator for various factories.
He is survived by parents of Fairfield Township; daughter, Alexandra Ohlinger; his brother, Michael (Terri) Ohlinger of Fairfield; sister, Kelly (Bruce) Suit of Oxford; grandson, Eryx Hammons of Hamilton; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Meagan, and Collin Ohlinger, and Matthew and Grace Suit of Oxford; best friends, Danny McWilliams and Judy Eversole; and numerous other friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. Shawn was preceded in death by grandparents, Joe and Meldia Baldwin and Don and Rose Ohlinger.

A memorial mass will be held at St Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St, on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Michael Pucke officiating, followed by a celebration of his life at the Fenmont Center, 229 North Third Street, Hamilton, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. www.browndawsonflick.com
