Shelby Warren Bailey

Shelby Warren Bailey, age 91 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012. He was born May 10, 1920, in Connersville, Indiana the son of Victor Hugo and Onie (Hawk) Bailey. Shelby was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943 to 1945 and was employed in maintenance at W.R. Grace. On October 16, 1940 in Burlington, Kentucky he married Bertha Holton, and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by sons, James Warren Bailey, Harry Richard (Betty) Bailey, and Forrest Edward Bailey; daughters, Mildred Martin and Pamela Durbin; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Barbara Ann Walton; and sisters, Grace Bird and Gertrude Brehm.

Visitation will be 10am, until time of service (11am), Thursday, April 12, 2012, at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue.
