Sherdan Hall Jr.

Sherdan Hall Jr., age 80, born May 27, 1938 went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 28, 2018.

He was born in Powell County, Kentucky to James Sherdan and Eunice Hall (Spencer). He married Norma Jean Townsend, November 25, 1961. He retired from International Paper. He attended Millville Ave. Church of God for 36 years where he served in many capacities. The last 14 years he attended Winton Road First Church of God where he enjoyed singing in the choir.

He enjoyed playing Bluegrass music and camping. He was a faithful Christian man who delighted in telling others about the love of his Savior. His love and devotion for his family was evident to all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma Jean Hall (Townsend), daughter Jennifer Burkey (Mike) of Ft. Wayne, IN, grandsons Cody and Ty Burkey of Ft. Wayne, IN; brother Bobby Hall (Shirley) of Stanton, KY; sister in law, Betty Hall of Stanton, KY, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 5 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be Friday June 1, 2018 at Millville Ave. Church of God, 1369 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio from 5:00PM – 8:00PM. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday June 2, 2018 at 1:00PM at Millville Ave. Church of God, with Pastor Brian Buriff and Rev. Frank Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Road, Hamilton, OH. Memorial contributions can be made to Winton Road First Church of God Missions.
