Sherry A. Davis

Sherry A. Davis, age 62 of Fairfield passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 4:30 PM. She was born in Butler County on September 22, 1949 the daughter of William and Christine (Moore) Garrett. Sherry was employed at Ohio Casualty for the past 40 years. On January 13, 1969 in Covington, Kentucky she married Gordon E. Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon E. Davis of Fairfield; a daughter, Jeannie (Al) Teager of College Corner, Ohio; her mother, Christine Garrett of Hamilton; two brothers, Butch (Angie) Garrett of Germany and Robert (Sue) Garrett of Dayton; three sisters, Tina (Steve) Rooks of Fairfield, Thelma of Hamilton, and Sudie of Florida; two grandchildren, Scott and Matika; and a great-grandson, Trent. She was preceded in death by her father and a very special person in her life, Diana G. Messer. They are both in God’s hands now.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Darrell Messer of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Bellbrook, Ohio officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
