Shirley Dawsey

Shirley Dawsey fell into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her home. She was surrounded by loved ones and precious friends. Shirley was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 1, 1935. She was proceeded in death by her mother, Emma (Hornsby) Lyttle (1908-1988) and father, Dishman Lyttle, (1908-1992) and sister Velma Skinner (1935-2021).

Shirley taught in the Hamilton City School System for 30 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Princeton Pike Church of God. She will be missed by her family, daughter Renee (Greg) Flick, grandson Chris (Kristen) Flick and great-grandchildren, Miles, Morgan and Max Flick.

Funeral services for this "spiritual royalty” will be held at Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale Road, Liberty Township. OH 45011, on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 12:00 noon at the church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Glenda Fields for her support during Shirley's brief illness.
