Shirley R. Hurley

Shirley Hurley, a beloved resident of Middletown, Ohio, born on March 24, 1944, passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 80.

Shirley was proceeded in death by her husband, JD Hurley; father and mother, Leander "Peanut” and Della (Brock) Feltner; sisters, Wanda Sue Feltner, Mott Garrod, Margaret Young and Debbie Snader; and brother in-law, Joe Jenkins.

Shirley will be remembered for her kind heart and infectious smile that brightened the lives of all who knew her. She was a pillar of her community at Majestic Care in Middletown, Ohio where she was known for her generosity and unwavering spirit. Shirley loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed playing bingo.

Shirley's legacy will live on in the memories of those she touched and the lives she impacted of those she leaves behind including her sisters, Betty Jenkins and Donna (Harvey) Johnson; brothers, Lee (Carolyn) Feltner and Earl (Annete) Feltner; a very special brother in-law, Mike Snader; and a host of nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly. Shirley’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her legacy of love and compassion will endure for years to come.
