Shirley A. Thomas

Shirley A. Thomas, age 81 of Fairfield, passed away at Majestic Care Center on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Shirley was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 26, 1938 to Kenneth Bell and Nannie (Barker) Bell.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Donald (Collen) Carr, Thomas Carr; nine grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Brenden, Tara, Freddy, Michelle, Chris, B.J. and Danny; five great grandchildren; siblings, Benny (Kay) McGuire, Owen “Tommy” (Skeeter) Bell, Henry (Rita) Bell, Desie Bell, Brenda (Clay) Arledge, Mary Jaunita Grapham, Rosalee (Jack) Turner, and Denise Dunnivant (Greg Smith), and numerous other nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by  her parents; her spouse, Leon Thomas; and one son Robert Carr; two sisters, Avia Vierling and Mildred “Shirley” Locke, and one brother Kenneth Bell.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, December  5, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Denny Fields officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, December  5, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
