Shon G. Walker

Shon Gregory Walker passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at the age of 19. Shon was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 26, 1999 to Chrissy Shepherd and Shon E. Walker. Shon was an aspiring artist and family protector. He enjoyed making music and spending time with those he loved the most. He could change the mood in a room without any effort due to his humorous nature. He often put others before himself and would do anything to make someone smile. He was a mentor to many and a hero to some. Shon will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Shon is survived by his mom, Chrissy Shepherd; his siblings, Tyler and Dakota Denton (Walker), Payton Ruffin, and Josh Ruffin; his beloved girlfriend, Hannah Shepherd; his chosen father, Maurice Ruffin Sr.; his aunts, Jennifer Barefield, Tiffany (Mickey) Baggett, Shelly (Chris) Lehman, and Pam Burton; his uncles, Shawn Shepherd and Jordy Walker; a host of cousins; his niece, Reign Denton; his grandparents, Greg and Joann Shepherd, Mary and Henry Zon Walker; and his great grandmother, Betty Hubbard. Shon was preceded in death by his great grandfather, James Hubbard; his aunt, Lynn Hubbard; his cousins, Mikey Hubbard and Christopher Ball.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Sean Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home in Shon’s name.
