Sophie Jayne (Cooper) Howard

Sophie Jayne Cooper Howard, age 21 of Trenton, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Sophie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 4, 1998 to Oliver Scott Cooper and Carrie Jayne Stoll Ingram.

When you think of Sophie, we know you will think of love and light.  Sophie was the epitome of unconditional love and she spread her love to her family, friends, pets and especially her late daughter, Oaklynn Jayne.  Her spirit shined a light on all who knew her.  Her beautiful smile lit up the room.  You couldn’t hear her laughter and not laugh with her.  Sophie shined like the sun and our lives will always, always be better because we stood in the warmth of her glow. Our only wish is that she feels the peace she deserves.

Sophie is survived by her parents, Oliver Scott (Dawn) Cooper and Carrie Jayne (Rick) Ingram; husband, Gavin Howard; siblings, Nick Cooper, Tami Flavin, Caleb (Tayler) Cooper, Lilah Cooper, Emerson Cooper, Easton Cooper, Henry Ingram, Phoebe Ingram and Daisy Ingram; step siblings, Nolan and Hallie Endres, Tyler and Ivan Ingram; grandparents, Oliver and Nannie Cooper, Ed and Denise Wilburn; great-grandparents Wayne and Betty Schlichter; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, cousins and friends. Her daughter, Oaklynn Jayne and sister, Emma Rose, preceded Sophie in death.

Visitation for family and close friends will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH, on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Smith officiating.
