Stanley A. Black

Stanley A. Black, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away at Birchwood Care Center on Sunday, July 2, 2023. Stanley was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 27, 1940 to Henry Earl Black and Carmaleda (Hurst) Black. He was a carpenter by trade for over 40 years for various companies. Stanley served time in the United States Army Reserves. His hobbies were playing pitch, feeding the birds, and most of all spending time with family and friends. On November 05, 1960 in Hamilton, Stanley married Marlene Baird and she preceded him in death on April 06, 2002. Stanley is survived by his children; Randall Nistler, Cindy (Martin) Jasso, Tammy (Tom) Lindsey, Allen Black, Edward Black; his son in law, Melvin Knox; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jerry) Amend, Wendell Knox, Randy Nistler Jr., Jeffrey (Bethany) Nistler, Tony Jasso, Nick Jasso, Christopher Lindsey, Danielle (Dan) Love, Amber (Eric) Fiex, Cassandra (Levi) Highley, Eddie Holme; his great grandchildren, Marissa, Nathan, David, Emily, Josie, Bailey, Kaleb, Aiden, and Aubrey; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Earl Black and Carmaleda D. Black; his spouse, Marlene Black; his daughter, Naomi Kay Knox; daughter in law, Betty Nistler; and several siblings and in laws. Graveside service will be held at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 11825 Pippin Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tom Ward officiating.
