Stanley "Stanbone" Fields

Stanley "StanBone" Fields, age 57 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 3:05 PM. He was born in Hamilton on June 23, 1953 the son of Chester and Ora (Couch) Fields. Stanley was an ordained minister whose passion in life was singing and playing gospel music in churches from state to state. He enjoyed fishing, camping, painting, drawing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Patty (Wolf) Fields, his high school sweetheart with whom he reunited years later in their lives; his children Sean Fields of Kentucky, Jessie (Kevin) Petre, Kimberly Fields, Jason (Sarah) Fields, Willie (Sarah) Fields-Onkst, all of Elkhart, Indiana, and Karen (Richard) Lakatos of Arizona; three brothers, Roscoe (Joyce) Fields, Russell (Linda) Fields, and John (Marty) Fields, all of Hamilton; three sisters, Imogene (Arlo) Barger, Sharon Fields, and Tracy (Pat) Fields, all of Hamilton; ten grandchildren whom he loved and cherished dearly; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Wolf; two brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law and their families; a stepson, Chris (Julie) Abrams of Michigan; a special uncle, "Fuzzy" (Jeannie) Couch of Elkhart, Indiana; a special aunt, Vicky Bowling of London, Kentucky; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends; and his loving, faithful dog, "Rusty." He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Dorothy E. Fields-Onkst; a sister, Jackie Fields; two brothers, Clinton and Casey Fields; father-in-law, Paul Wolf; sister-in-law, Beverly Wolf; and stepfather, Roy Fields. Heaven never welcomed a sweeter brother.

Funeral service will be held at New Beginning Tabernacle, 2561 Ramona Lane, on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Aaron Richards of First Pentecostal Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday after 6:00 PM until time of service on Friday. The family requests memorials to New Beginning Tabernacle.
