Stephen Allen

Stephen Allen, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Stephen was born in Manchester, Kentucky on September 11, 1937, to Arthur Allen and Lula (Robertson) Allen. Stephen was a United States Army Veteran. On December 18, 1959 in Hamilton, he married Myrtle Baker.  He was a member of the Benjamin Franklin Masonic Lodge in Hamilton, and a Kentucky Colonel. Stephen was a member of the Pater Ave. Free Pentecostal Church.  He loved to travel; enjoyed being a little league coach; and also enjoyed playing the banjo with several local groups in town; and most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Myrtle Allen; his two children, Stephen A. Allen, V. Susie (Carl) Reynolds; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Mike) Leport, Corey Allen, Zachary (Brennus) Reynolds, Zoe (Justin) Hoying; three great grandchildren, Kara Leport, Wesley Reynolds, and Liliana Reynolds; his brother, Dallas (Linda) Allen; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Allen and Lula Allen; and several siblings. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 12:00 PM with Pastor Aaron Phillips of New Life Community Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
