Stephen K. Harper, age 50 of Fairfield, passed away at Bethesda North Hospital on Thursday, October 10, 2013. He was born in West Chester on June 30, 1963 to Beryl and Shirley (Barnickel) Harper. Steve enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Stephen C. (Amanda) Harper, Tyler Harper, Katie Hendren and Joey Hendren; mother, Shirley Harper; sisters, Sherry (Ray) Tompkins and Sheila (Tom) Berger; grandchildren, Kayden and Tyson Harper; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bee Harper.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Monday, October 14, 2013 at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. Funeral services will be 10am, Tuesday, October 15, 2013 also at the funeral home on Millville Avenue, with Pastor Karl Chadrick officiating. Burial will follow at West Chester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 15120 Chicago, IL 60693.
