Steven "Steve" Paul Smith, age 61 of Morrow, passed away at Bethesda North Hospital on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Steve was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 8, 1955 to Paul Smith and Genevieve Grable Smith. Steve served for many years as a volunteer firefighter for the Milford Township Fire Department. He also served his country in the Army and National Guard. Steve was an avid race fan and loved antique cars and trucks.
Steve is survived by sisters Shirley (Darrell) Messer, Paulette (Fred) Burckey, Beverly (John) Flinn and Peggy (John) Kelly. Steve was preceded in death by parents Paul and Genevieve Smith and daughter Erika Smith.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Darrell Messer officiating. Burial will be the following day, June 28, 2017, 10:00 AM at Darrtown Cemetery.
