Stillman "Bud" Young

Stillman Orace Young, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Upshur County, West Virginia, on December 27, 1933, the son of the late Sidney and Carrie Davidson Young. On December 23, 1987, Bud married his wife of over 32 years, Juanita Reist. Bud was a US Navy Veteran on the USS Wisconsin. He worked for Pillsbury for over 15 years and retired from Beckett Paper after 17 years. Bud loved golfing, hanging out with his family, hunting and spending time at his cabin in West Virginia, caring for his yard, and cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events.

Bud is survived by his devoted wife, Juanita; sister, Sheila (Mark) Cogar; son, Ed (Roy Yoshimatsu) Young; daughter, Kathy (Steve) Duckworth;stepson-in-law, Rick Wertz; stepdaughter-in-law, Kathy Booher; grandchildren, Joe (Nikki) Duckworth, Aaron (Stacey) Duckworth, Jennifer (Joe) Sackenheim, Christine (Herminio) Carrasquillo, Stephanie (Heidi) Jorgensen, Tyler Wertz, Julie (Chris) Hobbs, Patrick (Kristin) Reist; and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his three brothers, George, Jack and John and two sisters, Gladys and Kay, all of West Virginia; stepdaughter, Cindy Wertz and stepson, Gary Reist.
