Sue E. Deuser

Sue E. Deuser, age 89 of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Hamilton, passed away at LifeCare Center of Punta Gorda on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 1:26 PM. She was born in Middletown on April 3, 1919 the daughter of Joseph and Ella (Meyers) Windsor. Sue was employed as a secretary at General Electric for 23 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church, Port Charlotte, Florida. On February 18, 1939 in Middletown she married John S. Mester who preceded her in death in 1956 and on July 20, 1968 in Middletown she married Charles F. Deuser.

She is survived by her husband, Charles F. Deuser of Punta Gorda, Florida; one daughter, Jacquelyne (Milton) Ninia of Punta Gorda, Florida; step son, Ronald (Laura) Deuser of Middletown; devoted daughter-in-law, Janie Mester of Hamilton; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, John "Eddie" Mester.

Prayer service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Father Stephen Mondiek officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be directed to Vitas Hospice.
