Sue E. Lykins

Sue E. Lykins, age 69 of Hamilton passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:46 PM. She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on May 8, 1941 the daughter of Chester and Fannie Brown. On July 20, 1956 in Edna, Kentucky she married Alton Ray Lykins and he preceded her in death in 2010. Sue enjoyed traveling with her husband.

She is survived by six sons, Edgar (Sheila) Lykins of Hamilton, David (Patty) Lykins of Oxford, Danny (Regina) Lykins of Hamilton, Mark (Tammy) Lykins of Hamilton, Jeff (Dodie) Lykins of Franklin, and Michael (Denise) Lykins of Franklin; three brothers, Vernon (Louise) Brown of Cincinnati, Bob Brown of Cincinnati, and Steve (Karen) Brown of Loveland; one sister, Dorothy Tipton of Mt. Healthy; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Kathleen Robbins; and great-granddaughter, Ella Rose Konicke.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 12:30 PM with her nephew, Rev. Keith Keeton officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
