Sue E. Mason

Sue E. Mason, age 88 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 8:08 AM. She was born in Hamilton on February 19, 1919 the daughter of Ignatz and Elizabeth (Grimm) Bader. Sue attended Hamilton schools and was a former member of the Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and being with family and friends. In 1946 in Bellevue, Kentucky she married Robert Mason who preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by one sister, Katheryn Woolums of Trenton; one hundred twenty-five nieces and nephews; godson, Kenneth Reiff of O’Fallon, Illinois; devoted niece and caretaker, Kathy Snelling of Middletown; and numerous other relatives, neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Robert Bader, Paul, Fritzie, and Carl Wetzer; seven sisters, Pauline Marshall, Saloma Bader, Mary Linville, Margaret Mitchell, Elizabeth Guldner, Rachel Born, and Mitzie Wetzer.

Funeral service will be held at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder, 1302 Millville Avenue, on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Rhonda Talles officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Friday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Mercy Franciscan at Schroder for all their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy Franciscan at Schroder, Hospice of Cincinnati, or the donor’s choice.
