Susan Corrine Brockman, age 62 of Camden passed away in McCullough-Hyde Hospital, Oxford on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 12:29PM. She was born in Hamilton on April 21, 1944, the daughter of Henry and Sally (Norvell) VonPlueren. On May 1, 1999 in Hamilton, she was married to Donald Brockman.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Brockman of Camden; two sons, Robert Hipp of Camden and Duane Hipp of Hamilton; one daughter, Peggy Hipp of Trenton; one brother, Claude (Wolson) von Plueren of Plato, Missouri; two sisters, Lynnette (Bill) Merckel of Hamilton and Cynthia Jerdon of West Chester; eleven grandchildren, Robert III, Devin, Darian, Destiny, Amy, Aaron, Allysha, Alex, Jessica, Christopher and Alexis and one great-grandchild, Dylan. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Katie Ellen Reed.
Prayers will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 10:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11AM with Father Dennis Dettenwanger, Celebrant. Burial will be in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 8:30AM to 10:30AM. The family requests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
