Susan Jane Pence

Susan Jane Pence, age 67 of Hamilton, passed away early Monday morning, August 22, 2016 at home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Hamilton on August 8, 1949 to Chester and Ida (King) Little. Susan was self-employed as a beautician for over 40 years. She was a member of Sweetheart Café’s Knitting Club and was an avid gardener and animal lover. Susie was a vibrant spirit who could lift you up with her smile or infectious laugh. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and kind-hearted, loving friend.

She is survived by her children, Tamie (Jonathan) Peel and Matt Pence; her grandchildren, Justin Peel and Skylar Coakley; her mother, Ida Little; her brother, Dave Little; her uncle, Bill Ruehl; and numerous nieces, nephews, "adopted kids", family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ernie Pence; her father, Chester Little.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10 AM with Pastor Wendell Coning officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio or the Animal Adoption Foundation in Ross.
