Sylvia Barnes, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Sylvia was born in Knox County, Kentucky on June 12, 1929 to Matthew and Ada (Helton) Pitman.
Sylvia is survived by her son, Ralph Barnes; her grandson, Jeff Stacy; her great grandchildren, Cody, Jessica, and Becca. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Barnes, her sister, Ann, her brother, James, and her granddaughter, Tammy.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Rev. John Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
