Sylvia M. Williman

Sylvia M. Williman, age 78 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 4:25 PM. She was born in Hamilton on April 3, 1930 the daughter of Everett and Marie (Sprauer) DeBolt. Sylvia was employed as a medical secretary at Fairfield OBGYN, Inc. and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. On September 24, 1949 in Hamilton, she married G. Joseph Williman, and he preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandi Paxton of Hamilton, Sharon (Don) Taylor of Oxford, and Diana (Dave) Vogt of Hamilton; ten grandchildren, Angie (Chris) Allison, Brian (Danyelle) Paxton, Doug (Sadie) Paxton, Renee Taylor, Niki Taylor, Michelle Taylor, Chris Vogt, Matt Vogt, Jimmy Vogt, and Joey Vogt; ten great-grandchildren, Darci, Casey, Aidan, and Chase Allison, Alexis Whitson, Breanna, Zoe, Nathan, and Isibealla Paxton, and Aoife Paxton; a stepsister, Juanita Young of Hamilton; a special niece, Barbara (Bruce) Dallas and their son Jimmy; and a special friend, Margaret Lammert. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Dorothy Plapp; and a sister, Marjorie Bock.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3028 Pleasant Avenue, on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Stephen Mondiek, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
