Ted W. Sullivan

Ted W. Sullivan, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away on November 6, 2013. He was born on February 26, 1934, the son of Jerry and Julia (Gray) Sullivan. On November 20, 1953, he married the love of his life Jessie Webb. Ted was employed by the United States Postal Service, Oxford branch, as Post Master. Ted was a member of the United States Army serving from 1954 until 1958. He also announced all the home football and basketball games for Talawanda High School. Ted enjoyed spending quality time with Jessie at their winter home on Hilton Head Island.

He is survived by his wife Jessie, sons Gregory (Teresa), Jeffrey (Mimi), James (Lisa), and daughter Susan (Mark) Litster; nine grandchildren and two great grandsons; one sister Jackie Jones and one brother Troy Sullivan; and also survived by other numerous nieces, nephews, and family members. He was preceeded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery. Burial will follow at Reily Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 12 PM- 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
