Teresa Kay Charles (Lee, Polston)

Teresa called Sis by her parents and siblings, known as T. T. by her nieces, nephews, and friends, passed away March 3, 2016 in Hamilton, Ohio. Teresa was born February 18, 1958 in Glasgow, Kentucky to Coy (Keith) and Julia (Judy) Polston. Following her birth and leaving to cherish her memory are her 3 brothers Michael, Charles (Tracy), Anthony (Heather) Polston and her only sister Nancy (Rodney) Dent.

Teresa gave birth to 3 beautiful children Bobbi Jo (Roger) Phelps, Amanda Bussell, and Shaun (Krissy) Lee prior to being diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer. After years of treatment Teresa beat cancer and even after being told she would not be able to have anymore children, she had her 3 miracle babies, Gary, Bryant (Chelsey) Chitwood, and Carley Charles. She then went on to marry Clifton Charles in September of 1998 gaining 3 more wonderful children Adam (Heather), Ashley (Jason) Elam, and John (Nikki) Charles who she loved like her very own. From 7 of their 9 children Teresa was blessed with 22 amazing grandchildren, raising her oldest Jynna Lee herself.

Teresa dedicated her life to her family, she loved having a house full of not only her children but her siblings and their children, even the neighborhood kids were welcomed and loved the only way she knew how, unconditionally. She was definitely one of a kind, always speaking her mind, the smile that always graced her face, the love filled hugs, and her everything will always work out and be ok attitude will be deeply missed by her entire family, extended families, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her.

Preceding her passing and waiting to welcome her home were both of her parents and one granddaughter Karalynne Hope.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 12Noon with Rev. Earl Charles officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 10AM-12Noon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the go fund me account in Teresa’s name.
