Teresa Devon Moody

Teresa Devon Moody, age 50 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 3, 2011. She was born in Hamilton on December 16, 1960 the daughter of Herman and Judith G. (Gabbard ) Moody. Teresa was a 1979 graduate of Ross High School and was baptized at Gordon Avenue Baptist Church. She was employed at Miami University and was formerly employed at the County Clerk of Courts. Teresa loved growing flowers. She was a sweet and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Judith G. (Ted) Ebbing; her father, Herman Moody; a brother, Adam Moody; a sister, Regina (Danny) Lykins; five nieces and nephews, Amy (Neil), Olivia, Andrea, Tiffany, and Jesse; five great-nieces and nephews, Natalie, Ava, Braylon, Hayden, and Kyia; and aunts and uncles, Lucy Howard, Betty Taulbe, Georgia Carlton, Effie Wilson, Yvonne (Jack) Gorham, John Moody, Juanita Moody, and Ida (Ed) Sloan.

Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Jim Mullins of Calvary Christian Center officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon
