Terrence "Terry" L. Mcguff

Terrence L. McGuff, age 88 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024. Terrence was born in Middletown, Ohio on June 15, 1936 to John McGuff and Julia (Mulligan) McGuff. He graduated from Fenwick High School in 1954 and went on to further his education at Xavier University, where he graduated in 1958. Terrence’s career began in education as a teacher and coach at Hamilton Catholic High School. Later in life, he transitioned into labor relations at General Electric where he retired in 1999. Upon retirement, he became a substitute teacher at Badin High School for 20 years. He was inducted to the Badin High School Athletic Hall of Fame, and his family was honored as a Legacy Family. Terrence was an avid walker who loved the Bengals, Reds, Ohio State, and Xavier.

Terrence is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ann McGuff; children, Mike (Jodee) McGuff, Kathy Damm, Colleen McGuff, Maureen Leu and Kevin (Letitia) McGuff; thirteen grandchildren, Katherine, Nolan, Patrick, Max, Ryan, Scott, Eric, Kilyn, Keiryn, Lukas, Lake, Lily, and Leks; three great-grandsons, Hunter, Jack, and Michael; and numerous other relatives and friends. Terrence was preceded in death by his parents, John and Julia (Mulligan) McGuff; three brothers; and one sister.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, January  4, 2025 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Jeff Silver officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, January  3, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013. Memorial contributions in Terrence’s name can be made to Badin High School.
