Terrill J. Gibbs

Gibbs, Terrill Joseph (Joe) age 68 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2015. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 1, 1947. He was the son of Ruby O. & Elizabeth A. Gibbs. He was employed as a respiratory therapist at Mercy Hamilton for 20 yrs and then 20 years as a respiratory therapist for home health care. After retirement he worked part time for Partners in Prime delivering Meals on Wheels.

On April 12, 1986 he married Melissa Kaye Hacker and they enjoyed a wonderful life together until she preceded him in death on September 3, 2001. He then married Marica Gail (Perry) on November 17, 2007. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Ann Gibbs and his devoted wife Marica Gail; child Gabe(Karen) Gibbs; stepson Todd (Jen) Perry; grandchildren; Landon Gibbs, Jake, Mitch and Grace Perry; Brother, Mike (Kathy) Gibbs, Jon Gibbs; Sisters, Jeri (Neil) Hume, & Lisa (Ted) Davis; two aunts and one uncle, five brother in laws and three sister in laws, mother and father in law John R. and Alpha Mae Hacker, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father Ruby Gibbs.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave. on Thursday, April 9th, .Visitation from 11:00-12:00 followed by the funeral at noon , with Pastor Velina Durbin of Headwaters Contemporary Christian Community officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
