Terry Mccain

Terry L. McCain, age 58 of Trenton, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Terry was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 19, 1966 to Nancy (Miller) McCain and the late Marvin Lee McCain, Jr. Terry graduated from New Miami High, class of 1984 and married his high school sweetheart, Monica Feltner in 1985. He worked at SOS Steel for a few years and coached sports in New Miami before enlisting in the U.S. Navy 1989. He proudly served aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga (CV-60). After his time in the service, Terry returned to the Hamilton area and worked as a forklift mechanic before completing his bachelor’s degree at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College. Over the years, he served as a pastor in Kentucky, Virginia, and Ohio. In his spare time, Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing and was quite a cinema critic and writer. He will be remembered for his kind, caring nature and loved his family with all of his heart.

Terry will be dearly missed by his wife, Monica McCain; their children, Josh (Kate) McCain, Jon McCain, and Jeff McCain; his grandson, Ty Patterson; his mother, Nancy; his siblings, Lisa Goins and Marvin D. McCain; his father-in-law, Hubert Feltner; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Marvin; his sister, Tammy Haning; his niece, Shannon and nephew, Brandon.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
