Thelma Jane Fledderman

Thelma Jane Fledderman, age 86 of West Chester, passed away at Hospice of Cincinnati on Monday, October 26, 2026. Thelma was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 22, 1940 to Vernon Franklin and Sarah Stella (nee McGuire) Allen. In 1983, Thelma married the love of her life, Hank Fledderman. Together they enjoyed 43 years of marriage. She worked at General Electric for 33 1/2 years and retired 1992, then worked at Meijer as a greeter from 1999 to 2019. Thelma enjoyed traveling with her husband and working on puzzles.

Thelma is survived by her husband, Henry G. Fledderman Jr.; her brothers, Jeremiah (Tina) Allen and Michael Ray (Jojo) Allen; her sister-in-law, Rita (the late Stan) Handorf; her brother-in-law, Edward Fledderman; and many nieces and nephews. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Donald Allen and Roy “Smiley” Allen; her sister, Martha Jean Swartz; and her sisters-in-law, Mary (Harry) Taylor and Shirley Fledderman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum, 2421 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio in the back of the cemetery. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association.
