Thelma I. Hymer, age 77 of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. Thelma was born in Collinsville, Ohio, December 24, 1939 to Lester and Myrtle Huffman. She married Edward Hymer June 1, 1961 in Collinsville. Thelma was a longtime hostess at the Chinese Lantern.
Thelma is survived by her sons, Gregory and Eric (Brenda Hinkel) Hymer; brothers, Clyde (Donna Payne) and Chuck (Judy Snell) Huffman; sister –in-law, Charlene Sisson; grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob, Eric Hymer and Robbie Hinkel. Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Myrtle Huffman; step-father, John Hesson; husband, Edward Hymer; grandson, Gregory Hymer; brother, Merle Huffman .
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 10:00am to 11:00am at Brown Dawson Flick, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00am, with burial at Darrtown Cemetery. Brown Dawson Flick funeral home is serving the family.
